About Us
Michelle and Chris have been married for more than 25 years, and their dream has always been to open up a small business on the island of Malta. Traveling has always been their passion, and it was on one of their forays in Asia that they realized the importance of tea to this continent and beyond. Both were lovers of traditional English tea, but when the extensive range of teas available in Asia was introduced to them, there was no looking back. Fast forward to 2022 and Maltea Gourmet was launched. offering organic loose leaf tea. Our teas and herbal blends are coming from all over the Asian continent and Africa.
